One React Native codebase, native where the platform needs it.

iOS and Android from one codebase, upgraded in place rather than rewritten. We move legacy apps to the New Architecture without pausing feature work.

Tools

  • React Native & Expo
  • Native modules
  • Store releases
  • OTA updates
  • New Architecture
  • Swift
  • Kotlin

What this looks like from where you sit.

The app is slower than it should be and nobody can say why. Startup drags, lists stutter, and the fix gets guessed at rather than measured.

A React Native codebase has quietly become a native-code codebase. Business logic lives in JavaScript, the bridge carries too much, and the New Architecture upgrade reads as a rewrite.

Two platforms, one team, and one of them always slips. Android ships a quarter late because its half of the work was never the priority.

How the work runs.

  1. 01Read what is there

We read the codebase and the store history before proposing anything: bundle size, startup path, the modules that cross the bridge, and what the New Architecture migration would actually cost you. Most apps that feel slow come down to one oversized list or one synchronous bridge call, and finding it takes a day.

  2. 02Measure first

A written plan with the numbers attached — cold start, frames per second on your worst screen, crash-free rate — so you can see what changes and what it buys before anyone writes code.

  3. 03Build in slices

One surface at a time, shipped behind a flag. React Native work, Swift or Kotlin where the platform genuinely needs it, and native modules only where a JavaScript implementation would be a lie about the hardware.

  4. 04Ship and stay

Store submission, phased rollout, OTA updates for the fixes, and a handover that leaves your team able to own it. Or we stay on as your mobile team.

Three ways to start.

  • A defined piece of work — a migration, a performance pass, a release pipeline, one feature that keeps stalling.

  • Engineers embedded in your team, in your standups and your repo, at the rhythm you already run.

  • The whole app, from an empty repository to a store listing we hand over or keep running.
